Postdoc Meet Up, 7 December 2015

The graduate Campus invites all PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers to the next Postdoc Meet Up! on the topic of Biotech at UZH: learning from successful startup founders.

Program:
Keynote talks by Dominik Wensauer (Startup@UZH) and by startup founders Dr. Daniela Marino (CUTISS) and Dr. Michael Salzmann (neurimmune).

Dr. Marino is a researcher at the University Children’s Hospital Zurich. In collaboration with the UZH Tissue Biology Research Unit, Department of Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Burn Center, she developed an artificial skin graft to treat burns and skin disorders. So far there is no comparable substitute skin on the market.

Dr. Salzmann is COO & General Manager of Neurimmune. Neurimmune received the ZKB TECHNOPARK® Pioneer Award for its unique and promising research known as RTM™ (Reverse Translational Medicine) that aims at developing drugs for the prevention and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.

You are invited to ask your questions regarding startups. The event will take place in English.
